Quick Garlic Bread Rolls packed with pockets of melty, gooey mozzarella cheese, and brushed on top with garlic-herb butter. One of the best skillet breads ever!
Are you fan of freshly baked bread? Yep, me too! But I confess that I hate all the kneading and, most of all, the time waiting for it to rise.
Time is a powerful enemy in this regard-- I think that it makes me too eager to get that delicious warm bread in my mouth. 🙂
So, as you can see, I love to eat bread, not to make it. As a result, I am sharing a clever recipe that is guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding palate: Cheese Stuffed Garlic Bread Rolls which are as cheesy and delish as this air fryer cheesy garlic bread..
These garlic dinner rolls are outrageously delicious -- and will make you look like a hero, but without spending much time in the kitchen.
It's a cherished family recipe because it tastes like it was made from scratch. Believe it or not, our Garlic Bread Rolls take only 30 minutes to prep and bake -- instead of 2 hours.
The aroma is terrific and the taste is addictive. Well, make them and enjoy, as either an appetizer for sports games or as a side for a main dish!
HOW TO MAKE CHEESE STUFFED GARLIC BREAD ROLLS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 10-inch cast-iron skillet with cooking spray; set aside.
Unroll refrigerated dough over lightly floured surface.
Using a 2 ½-inch round cutter, cut dough into 24 rounds, re-rolling scraps as necessary.
Place 1 (1-inch) piece of mozzarella in the center of each round and wrap dough around cheese, pinching seam to seal.
Arrange balls/rolls in prepared skillet, seam side down. In addition, place pieces of mozzarella between rolls.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Then sprinkle with Parmesan and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, olive oil, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon salt in a small bowl.
Brush rolls with butter mixture as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Garlic Bread Rolls Spread
Traditionally, garlic bread spread is made with a mixture softened butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder or minced garlic, parsley, pepper and salt.
But ours is lighter since it uses less butter -- which is melted and then mixed with olive oil, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.
