HOW TO MAKE BROCCOLI GRATIN WITH BACON
Place broiler rack about 8 inches from the source of heat. Then preheat the conventional oven to 400 F. Spray a medium baking dish with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Place broccoli in a microwave safe bowl with about 6 tablespoon water, cover with a plate, and cook on high for about 3-4 minutes or until tender but firm. Drain! Arrange into the baking dish.
Meanwhile, in the bowl of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, milk, salt, and garlic powder until smooth. Mix in bacon and half of the cheddar cheese.
Pour mixture over the broccoli.
Then, sprinkle the other half of the cheddar on top.
Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Next, broil for about 5 minutes, or until cheese is golden brown.
Top with fresh oregano if you want to. Serve broccoli gratin and enjoy!

What are the carbs per portion please I'm making it for 6 not 12
Denise Browning says
Hi Dawn! The net carbs (total carbs minus fiber) are 6 grams per portion. Whether you make it for 6 or 12, the nutritional facts are the same per portion. Of course, if you are using the same amount of ingredients of this recipe but serving 6 instead of 12 people, those 6 people will eat double. This means, that instead of consuming 6 g net carbs they will consume 12 grams.
Karen (Back Road Journal) says
